Jennifer Elmore, AIA, NCARB
Associate, Director of Architecture
After 14 years of experience in the metro Detroit area, Jennifer joined Kraemer Design Group in 2014. She gained her education from Lawrence Technological University with a Master of Architecture in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2000. During her undergraduate years, she gained experience as a field inspector of underground utilities and road projects. This field experience was an invaluable learning tool, as the ability to observe and understand construction has served her well on all projects.
Jennifer’s love of architecture began at an early age with the gift of a dollhouse. Upon receipt she made some “modifications” to the house transforming it from a two story gabled roof farmhouse to a three story second Empire mansion. Ever since then, buildings have been a puzzle to analyze and work out. This love of building puzzles has gained her extensive experience in additions and remodeling which lends itself well to the revitalization of Detroit.
Jennifer brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills to the team. As the Director of Architecture, she develops and monitors the technical application of design, construction, and implementation for all projects to ensure code adherence, timely and effective solutions, and production. She directs and monitors collaboration with vendors, consultants, production support, and project teams to provide technical direction on systems analysis, design and development. She is responsible for review of documented technical requirements and project plans to ensure adherence to defined standards and to facilitate the transfer of knowledge throughout the staff, and loves her role directing their technical and professional growth.
