Cassandra M. Talley, J.D., M.S., 36 CFR 61 Architectural Historian

Architectural Historian, Human Resource Specialist

Passionate about preserving Detroit’s architectural legacy, Cassandra began her graduate studies in Historic Preservation while working fulltime as an attorney. Cassandra expects to earn her Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University in 2020.

Cassandra earned her Bachelor’s degree in History of Art from the University of Michigan in 2006. While attending the university, Cassandra spent the fall of 2005 studying abroad in Florence, Italy. In 2012 Cassandra graduated cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law. Prior to joining Kraemer Design Group Cassandra spent five years practicing law in and around Detroit.

Cassandra joined Kraemer Design Group in 2018 as a Historic Preservation Specialist. Cassandra brings enthusiasm, meticulous research skills, and a collaborative approach to problem solving to the team. Focusing on the client’s needs, while still respecting the historic nature of the building, is paramount to Cassandra. As a resident of Detroit’s historic Rosedale Park, Cassandra is fully invested in the city and is active in her neighborhood association.
