Lofts of Merchants Row

As the Architect, Interior Designer, Historic Consultant and Procurement Agent on 1413 Woodward—now known as Lofts of Merchants Row—Kraemer Design Group renovated and restored Detroit’s former Frank and Seder department store into 42 high-end apartment units. The project team also completed extensive facade renovation, including the (re)addition of ornamental cornices, balustrades and a juliet balcony, bringing back the historic character the building had when it was first completed in 1896.
