Capitol Park Lofts

Kraemer Design Group served as the Architect of Record, Interior Designer, Historic Consultant and Procurement Agent on 1145 Griswold, also known as Capitol Park Lofts, originally constructed in 1912 in downtown Detroit. KDG led the renovation and conversion of the former office building into 63 luxury apartments, utilizing both State and Federal Historic Tax Credits. The scope also included the reconstruction of the historic cornices, an enclosed pedestrian bridge that provides residents direct access to the parking garage across the alley and a new rooftop deck overlooking Capitol Park.
