Hotel Indigo Detroit

The Detroit Indigo project entails transforming a midcentury urban hotel, originally a Howard Johnson, into a boutique hotel. The property is located within walking distance to the Washington Boulevard and Detroit Financial Historic Districts and at the crossroads of two of Detroit’s largest radial streets. The hotel renovation cohesively blends the Modernist Skyscraper style of the exterior with current market interior attributes and finishes. The first two floors are fully renovated, providing guests an array of amenities including an in-house restaurant. The remaining floors include parking and guestrooms. The entire property is designed to incorporate a specifically selected Detroit theme and was completed in 2020.
