Mission Point Resort

Kraemer Design Group served as the Architect, Interior Designer and Procurement Specialist in the fast-paced, 133-room renovation of the Straits Lodge at Mission Point Resort. The scope included refreshed guestrooms, improved acoustical privacy and the addition of a grab-and-go café at the entrance. Our design focused on enlivening and brightening the guestrooms with a Great Lakes aesthetic, while meeting the significant challenge of carefully specifying materials with maintenance in mind to meet the room’s pet-friendly requirements. The renovation included collaboration with multiple Michigan companies, including Detroit Denim, Detroit Bikes and Earth 2 Earth.
