Capitol Park is quickly becoming downtown Detroit’s newest hotspot and we’re thrilled to be playing a significant role in its development.
The Albert – Capitol Park, one of our projects located at 1214 Griswold and originally designed by famed architect Albert Kahn in 1929, is emerging as a premier downtown Detroit housing option. The 12-story building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. In our design, we were able to preserve many of the building’s unique characteristics while creating open floor plan units that feature luxury chevron flooring, custom moveable kitchen islands and efficient vintage lighting.
KDG and ROSSETTI collaboratively worked on The Albert – Capitol Park. ROSSETTI designed the common areas and our team designed the residential units, served as the architect of record and historic consultant on the project.
