Standart Lofts

As the Architect, Interior Designer, Historic Consultant and Procurement Agent for Standart Lofts, Kraemer Design Group led the adaptive reuse of a former hardware company into 75 high-end apartment units. Constructed in 1906 and located in downtown Toledo’s Warehouse District, the building is a stunning example of sturdy, turn-of-the-century heavy timber and masonry construction—the kind of which is no longer seen in architecture. Aside from the transformation of the entire interior into residential space, our team also oversaw a facade renovation including full masonry restoration and new single-hung aluminum windows throughout. Also added was an expansive rooftop deck with panoramic views of the Toledo Mudhens ballpark, Maumee riverfront and Toledo skyline.
