Lofts of Merchants Row

As the Architect, Interior Designer, Historic Consultant and Procurement Agent for The Lofts of Merchants Row, Kraemer Design Group combined five nationally registered historic Detroit buildings and one new-construction building into a mixed-use development including dozens of high-end, loft-style residential units, commercial retail environments and a ten-story parking structure. By retaining and embracing the historic nature of the existing buildings, Lofts of Merchants Row was able to utilize Historic Tax Credits, Brownfield Tax Credits and Obsolete Building Tax Credits to aid in the financing of the project.
