When Kraemer Design Group’s intense creative talent exceeded its previous work space, a sophisticated and efficient new office with punchy color and detailed design was quick to follow. The current KDG office is located on the second floor of the commercial addition to the Detroit Opera House Parking Center in downtown Detroit’s Harmonie Park.  KDG is proud to present our office as a great example of the quality work we love to do.

The office is also an example of simple design decisions that can decrease operation costs and benefit the environment without increasing the initial project budget.  Finish choices consist of low VOC paints and carpet tiles made of recycled materials, and sunshades with one-way viewing regulate solar heat gain through the windows.  Additionally, the HVAC system is digitally monitored to reduce heating and cooling loads during non-occupancy hours.  In order to optimize energy performance, the entire lighting system responds to motion detection sensors, and our kitchenette appliances are all Energy Star rated.  The restrooms feature hands free lavatories, toilets, and urinals to reduce water use.  Overall, the office’s open plan design exemplifies the uniquely branded yet highly functional approach KDG takes with every project.
